Vintage Lane Barrel Aged Saison reflects on a previous life of our family's involvement in the alcohol industry. Vintage Lane is the lane where Jost Vineyards has operated on for over 30 years and continues to operate on. This tart Saison aged in a red wine foeder before being racked onto L'Acadie grape skins for a 6 month maceration. The resulting beer has fruit forward notes such as ripe plums and melons, with light tannins that help provide structure.
The house on the label is the Jost homestead where the family lived after moving from Germany in 1970.
A bottle deposit and tax has already been included.
