Decadent and robust, this reserve batch of our imperial stout was aged in bourbon barrels for 12 months. Time works to condition the beer's character, enhancing malt flavours and increasing smoothness, while the addition of bourbon and oak character adds depth that plays naturally with the chocolate, caramelized, and roasted notes of this imperial ale.
